At the age of 10, Conrad scored his big break as a professional, in a series of commercials as the Milky Bar Kid. Many a bruised arm and periodic sessions of verbal and physical torture on the school bus would follow. Ah, what shapes a man.
Conrad is a fully trained actor from QUT (1996-1999) with over 7 years of professional experience. Before leaving Uni, he performed the lead role in a graduate production of Cosi (1999), touring Singapore, London, New York and Los Angeles. On his return he scored his first professional role, as Jerome in "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" (1999) an American tele-movie.
After graduation, Conrad played the role of Stuey in the Sydney Theatre Company's production of the Recruit (2000). He went on to play various guest roles in well known Australian TV series - Water Rats (2000), Flat Chat (2000), Headland (2004-2005) and of course, All Saints (2000-2004) in his well known role of Scott Zinenko, the fiery paramedic.
He also kept up his theatre in the STC's production of "The Club" (2003) by David Williamson performed at the Opera House and his first musical role of Lt Cable in "The South Pacific" (2004) at the Theatre Royal.
Recently, Conrad performed the role of Billy in his first Feature Film "The Last Winter" (working title - 2006) and starred in the Queensland Theatre Company's production of "The Glass Menagerie" as Tom in 2007.
In the corporate world, Conrad has been a representative for "Jeans for Gene's Day", a wonderful charity event; a mascot for Australian Safety Week appearing on "Sunrise" for Biersdorf Australia; and as a presenter for Toyota Rav 4's in house promotional video's. In his spare time Conrad is a motorbike enthusiast, has his own band, is learning to fly and competes in weekly biathlons.
